The preschool teaches children to develop skills in critical thinking, classifying, illustrating, summarizing, and interpreting information. Special emphasis is given in phonics to develop foundational skills. Word perception and decoding of words are drilled daily and mastered before entering second grade. The reading program is designed to teach the student to read orally with expression and comprehension. Students are challenged to compose oral and written sentences as well as read sentences orally and silently. Language is taught with introduction to parts of speech with hands-on materials that will prove vital when reinforcing basic skills. Math is taught with a variety of activities that build independent thinking and problem solving.
We will strive to help your child discover their talents through hard work, encouragement, and guidance.
